Our Story

Matt is a Colby, Kansas native, while Michaela proudly grew up right here in Goodland. The two met during college, quickly realizing they were building a future together. They married in 2016 and are now raising their two children, Thea and Kason, who keep life busy and fun.

As a family-owned and operated business, we take pride in serving our local communities with honest work, dependable service, and friendly customer care. Matt brings a diesel technology degree from Northwest Tech along with seven years of technical experience at Foley Equipment. His lifelong passion for mowers, engines, and hands-on repair work makes him the go-to expert for mower sales, service, and small engine repair.

Michaela serves as a part-time faculty member at Colby Community College and is also a proud member of the USD 352 School Board. She is the head saleswoman at the shop and loves helping customers find the perfect mower or unit to fit their needs. Whether she’s helping at the front desk, behind the phone, or out on the lot, she’s excited to help every customer feel confident in their purchase and experience.

When they’re not working, you’ll likely find them enjoying time outdoors on the RZR, caring for their small petting zoo — complete with alpacas, a mini horse, cows, a mini donkey, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats — or relaxing together with a good card game or movie night.

We’re incredibly excited for this next chapter in our new location and look forward to continuing to serve our customers and communities for many years to come!
